DS-HV: Reward/Immunity Challenge (Day 37)

Challenge: Bone to Pick

Alright, welcome to the final five, are you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge? First's things first, Abi, I have to take it back, once again immunity is up for grabs, for today's challenge:

With one arm tied behind your back, you will be using large fish hooks to retrieve bags of puzzle pieces. You will then use those pieces to complete a puzzle in the shape of a hanging fish skeleton, which will require a delicate touch to finish, or else pieces could fall and you will have to start over. First person to complete the puzzle, wins immunity, safe from the vote. Losers, tribal council, somebody will become the ninth member of our jury.

In addition, you are playing for reward. A huge plate of spaghetti and meatballs, with garlic bread and all the fixings, to be shared with someone of your choice. Should be enough nourishment to last you in the last few days of this game.

Other than that... you are also playing for... this envelope... which contains the final secret advantage of this very dynamic and lively season, which could be all you need to make one final move to impress the jury and win this game.

A lot is at stake, immunity, spaghetti and a secret advantage... this is the biggest challenge so far... this is one that you want to win. We'll draw for spots, we'll get started.

Survivors Ready?? Go!!

Challenge: https://strawpoll.com/fx98p6q5x

(You can vote for as many players as you want, please vote on who do you think should realistically win this challenge, the challenge advantages points will be listed in the poll, these polls will end at 12:00 mn EST. Good Luck!!)

DS-HV: Immunity Challenge Results (Day 37)

Everyone is off to a great start, Andrea and Malcolm quickly picking up their fish hooks, and they both trying to get their first bag back to the start... Andrea drops hers, Malcolm gets his first bag. Abi trying to get her first bag now, she fails, Victoria going for it, she fails, Marty no where close to picking up all the fish hooks, this challenge is certainly difficult. Malcolm going for his second, and gets it. He is making this look easy, Victoria and Andrea now both have their first bags, Abi having trouble, while Malcolm is already going for his third... can he bring it back? He does! He can now get started on the puzzle. While the others are struggling with the first part of this challenge.

Malcolm has a history of having shaky hands that cost him the win in his first season, this challenge is of a similar caliber where one small mistake can topple all of your progress down. Malcolm has an advantage of having a head start, but will that be enough? Abi has her first bag, Marty inching his first bag little by little, he is far behind, but hey progress is progress. Victoria and Andrea both with their second bags, they both only have one left. Malcolm is taking his time, being careful, he does not want to make the same mistake again. Malcolm is done with his first layer, he's off to his second, this puzzle will become more and more difficult as more pieces are put on it.

Andrea drops her third bag, Victoria being careful... and she gets her third bag, she can get start with her puzzle. Andrea not far behind, she has her third bag and can start her puzzle. Abi and Marty still struggling. Malcolm one piece away from finishing his second layer... and he gets it. He only has one layer left, while both Victoria and Andrea just arrived to start theirs. Malcolm being very very careful about his puzzle, he does not want to start over, he has to switch a few pieces around... and he only has a few pieces left. Andrea and Victoria are making quick work of their first layer, but all they can hope for right now is for Malcolm to make a mistake... Malcolm with his third to last piece... he is so close... Victoria has her first layer done, but it is for naught as Malcolm only has one piece left... and he's got it!! Malcolm wins Immunity!!

Malcolm, come on over, what a performance, individual immunity is yours for the fourth time. You are safe in tonight's tribal council, cannot be voted out of this game, congrats. But you've also won this secret advantage which you can keep as a secret or tell your allies or whatever you want to do with it, it is up to you. You also have a spaghetti reward, who are you taking with you?? Andrea? Andrea, come on over, you two will have a spaghetti picnic waiting for you back at camp. As for the rest of you, I've got nothing, but a tribal council tonight, where somebody will be the twentieth person voted out and the tenth member of our jury. Big stakes, grab your stuff head back to camp, I'll see you all at tribal.

DS-HV: Immunity Challenge Results (Day 37)

The tribe returned to their camp after the challenge, Malcolm and Andrea immediately split off to have their reward.

Malcolm knew it was in his best interest to bring Andrea along for this reward, as his move yesterday to flip his vote against Janet and Victoria put a wedge in their alliance, as he was afraid of having to draw rocks without an idol or the necklace to guarantee himself safety. Victoria was upset at him this morning, and although he thought of bringing her along to make amends, bringing Andrea was the better strategy for him, as it will split up their alliance of three for a few hours, and he could potentially flip Andrea to their side. Or if Victoria was a lost cause, he could at least try and convince Andrea to tie things up in the final four and have him a chance to make fire, if he doesn't win immunity.

He talked about how Abi is also a threat in this game, as she has not made much enemies in this season compared to when they played together before, the jury could see that as a growth and possibly grant her the win at the end. Andrea, doesn't want to flip, as she knows that all she needs to do when the three of them make it to Day 39, is to make Abi upset enough to botch her own final tribal performance and that should be enough for her to rise and take the win. But Malcolm was persistent, and to build up trust with Andrea, he allows her to see what the secret advantage was:

"Throughout this season, these powerful hidden immunity idols, were made to be small, discrete and difficult to spot, requiring intuition to locate where it was, and delicate timing to grab it in front of everyone. This one final idol, is no different, as it is closer to you than you think".

It was an Idol clue and both Malcolm and Andrea agreed to look all over the picnic table and the area around it for that idol, and whoever finds it first, gets to keep it. And so, they spent a long time rummaging through their food, digging in the dirt, and searching nearby trees for it.

Meanwhile, Abi, Marty and Victoria, were sitting around at their shelter, wondering why Malcolm and Andrea were taking so long. Victoria was still upset with Malcolm's move last night, and so thought of the worst that he is flipping to their side and she might be going home tonight, so she goes to try and save herself by telling Abi and Marty that Andrea maybe flipping against them tonight and maybe they should take her out instead of her. Victoria also stated that she and Malcolm are going to sweep the jury against the two of them, so they are better of taking herself to the end as she hasn't made much big moves, that idol misplay was a huge waste, and the only people who would probably vote for her anyways was just Sophie, leaving 10 other votes for Abi and Marty to get. Both Abi and Marty considered what she was saying, but decided to consult Andrea first when she returns, to see where her head was at and if Victoria was right.

On the other hand, Andrea and Malcolm were still looking for that idol, and they haven't made much progress after taking 2 hours looking all over the place. And Malcolm suddenly remembered that both Devon and Janet mentioned that idols in this season, were hidden in plain sight of everyone, and they were really tricky to find. And with the words "closer to you than you think" he figured it out; he unhooked the Immunity Necklace from himself and started looking for anything in it's design, he spotted a small removable disc, he pulled it out, and read the description behind it: "This is a hidden immunity idol" And Malcolm jumped and screamed for joy as he read those words. Andrea was shocked about all that, and congratulated him.

Malcolm had a lot of thoughts in his head, about all the moves he could do, he already has immunity, so he could save Victoria and make Abi's alliance crumble, he could save Andrea and lock her in as an ally, to tie up the final four vote, or he could just keep it as a souvenir. Yesterday he was afraid of making a move as he didn't have any security, now he has both the necklace and an idol, he is beyond ready to make this game his.

Andrea was very scared of the power Malcolm now has, as he essentially controls who could go home tonight by using that idol of his. So, when they packed up and returned to camp, she immediately grabbed Abi and told her everything; Malcolm was targeting her, he has an idol and could use it to save Victoria, and with all that he will become the favorite to win, he makes it to the end. And so, Abi hatches a plan to throw Marty under the bus, as he is the physically weakest, and they will be need all their strength to try and take Malcolm down tomorrow. Andrea wonders if that was a good plan, as Victoria was still a threat to them... and so they will just have to wait and see how this vote goes.

(There appeared to be a problem with my schedule, and so we will have to reschedule the final five tribal council tomorrow, sorry about that, but this large amount of time, should be enough for all of you to strategize the best move to happen next. Good Luck!!)

DS-HV: Tribal Council #20 (Day 37)

Abi, Andrea and Marty formed a final three alliance, each believing that they are each the best options to take to the end, putting Malcolm and Victoria at the bottom of the tribe. Malcolm was able to win immunity, reward and an idol clue, he then put himself to work, by bringing Andrea to the reward to try and flip her to the other side, wanting to vote out Abi for playing a surprisingly strong game. He also found an idol, that he plans to make a big move with to change this game to his favor.

Meanwhile Victoria, knew she was done for, and so tried to get Marty and Abi to flip on Andrea for being a threat that could easily beat both of them at the end. Later on, Andrea tells Abi that she is in trouble because of Malcolm's idol and so the women planned to throw Marty under the bus as a sacrificial lamb to be able to beat out Malcolm in tomorrow's challenge, but will that be the wisest move for them?

Let's get this on!!

DS-HV: Tribal Council #20 Results (Day 37)

I'll go tally the votes.

If anybody has a Hidden Immunity Idol, and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

Malcolm: Well, if you were all wondering what that secret advantage was... this is it. I already have immunity, So, I am gonna go ahead and play it for someone else, this is for Victoria.

This is a Hidden Immunity Idol, any votes cast against Victoria will not count.

Alright, once the votes have been read, the decision is final and that person will have to leave the tribal council area immediately, I'll read the votes.

First vote, Victoria (does not count)

Abi-Maria (that's one vote Abi)

Marty (we're tied, that's one vote Marty, one vote Abi)

Marty (that's two votes Marty, one vote Abi, one vote left)

The twentieth person voted out of Survivor: Heroes vs Villains and tenth member of our Jury; Marty.

That's 3, that is enough, you need to bring me your torch.

Marty, the Tribe has spoken, time for you to go.

Well, you have made it to Day 37, you four will have your final immunity challenge tomorrow, I suggest you all get a good nights rest, because you will need it, one step closer to winning this game. Grab your torches, head back to camp, good night.

DS-HV: Final Immunity Challenge (Day 38)

Challenge: Operation Balance Build

Alright... Andrea, Malcolm, Victoria and Abi, welcome to your final immunity challenge. Malcolm, I have to take it back, for the last time, immunity is back up for grabs. For your final immunity challenge:

Using a long pole, you will have to pick up a bowl, and maneuver it through a channel, when you get to the top, you will place your bowl on top, and head out for your next one. However, your entire structure sits on a spring, which means if you hit it too hard, it wobbles, your bowls will drop, you have to start over. First person to stack 15 bowls, or have the most bowls at the end of an hour, wins immunity, safe from the vote, guaranteed a spot in the final tribal council, be able to plead their case to the jury, why they deserve the title of sole survivor.

We'll draw for spots, we'll get started.

DS-HV: Final Immunity Challenge Results (Day 38)

Everyone quickly off to get their first bowl... Victoria in a rush, drops hers, she has to start over, Andrea moving quickly, Malcolm right behind her, Abi is in it. Andrea has her first bowl up, she can get her next one, Malcolm has his first bowl up, Abi has her first bowl up, Victoria closing in, she has her first bowl up, everyone has their their first bowl up, you have fifteen total, you still have a long way to go.

It has been 15 minutes, Andrea is in the lead with her seventh, she has been lightning fast in this challenge so far, but the wind is starting to pick up, you will have to be careful not to make a mistake or else you will have to start all over. Malcolm has his fifth, Victoria as her sixth, Abi's falls over, she has to start over. Andrea is now going slow and steady for her eighth bowl... her structure is wobbling, can it stay it together, it cannot, Andrea has to start over, Victoria's falls over as well what disaster. Malcolm has taken the lead with five bowls, he has his sixth... and it drops!!

30 minutes have elapsed, bowls have been dropping all through out, Andrea is in the lead once again with her fifth, but it will probably not last as long. Victoria has her fourth, Malcolm and Abi both have their third, nothing about this challenge is easy. Victoria drops her bowls. This is going to be a long challenge, and it will probably come down to the wire.

50 minutes, you four have been up and down that structure, the most bowls we've had was 10 with Andrea, but that came falling down immediately. Victoria is currently in the lead with eight, and she has taken a defensive position, not even moving to get her ninth, she is waiting for someone else to make a mistake. Malcolm and Andrea are right behind with sixth each, Andrea is quickly moving to get her seventh, while Malcolm is taking it slow and steady. Abi still picking up her bowls.

You only have 2 minutes left, Andrea is in the lead once again at nine, Victoria still hasn't moved, she's still at eight, she's waiting Andrea to make a mistake, while Malcolm had to start over and is getting his fourth and Abi... is out of it. Andrea is gonna try to get her tenth bowl... it stays!! she's off to try and get her eleventh. Malcolm is rushing to get his sixth, Victoria still waiting. 1 minute left, Malcolm trying to catch up, Andrea is going slow and steady, Malcolm has his sixth, he's off for his seventh, Andrea goes for her eleventh... can it stay up there?? No!! it all falls down, Victoria's patience worked and she's now in the lead with 30 seconds left on the clock. But Malcolm is closing in... he has his seventh, he's off to get his eighth, Victoria finally makes a move and gets her ninth, both are rushing to get their bowls to the top... and Victoria's stack drops!! Malcolm has taken the lead as he puts his eight, and now he waits... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. This Challenge is Over!! Malcolm wins Final Immunity!!!

Malcolm, come on over, individual immunity is yours for the fifth and final time, today you join an elite group of Survivor players, well done. You are safe in tonight's tribal council, cannot be voted out of this game, you also made it to the final three, with the change to plead your case to the jury, on why you deserve to win this season, congrats. For the rest of you, tribal council tonight, where somebody will be the twenty-first person voted out and the final member of our jury. Big stakes, grab your stuff head back to camp, I'll see you all at tribal.

DS-HV: Veitavalu Camp (Day 38)

The tribe returned to camp as they settle in for tribal council later tonight. Malcolm was extremely happy over his win, he was finally able to make it to the end and has good chance to win it all. After being at the bottom during most of the entire game, he feels surreal that he was able get himself as far as he did. Now all he has to do is make sure whoever is sitting next to him tomorrow will be the right ones.

All the while the women were incredibly distraught, as they tried to put all the eggs in one basket, to just try and make sure that Malcolm didn't win immunity today, their sacrifice of Marty was for naught. Victoria, was certainly feeling the most distraught, as that was it, one last chance to get herself to the end, was to make sure Malcolm was voted out today, and it didn't happen.

Victoria and Malcolm met up to talk about who should go home between the other two, Malcolm argued that Abi should go as she is just annoying, it would not sit right with him if she made to the end, plus she's possibly easier for Victoria to beat in fire. While Victoria argued that it should be Andrea as she is the biggest threat to win out of all of them, and if they could get Abi to flip then Malcolm chances have become higher. They argued for a long time, then they decided to see if the other two are willing to make a move against the other.

Victoria talked to Abi, while Malcolm reached out to Andrea about possibly turning on the other, their plans were both considered by both women, as... at this point, who can you really trust? Both Abi and Andrea wanted to stick together and just vote out Victoria, but the risk of the other flipping, or a fire-making challenge happing and them going home one day before the end... was fueling their paranoia.

(Tribal Council will be in a few hours)

DS-HV: Tribal Council #21 (Day 38)

There is a division in the tribe, as the Final Three alliance broke apart, sacrificing Marty in order to counter Malcolm's idol. There is now only two equally strong and equally as fragile factions in the tribe. Abi and Andrea, and Malcolm and Victoria.

Malcolm managed to win final immunity, and talked to Victoria about who to get out, both made cases upon why Abi or Andrea should go. Meanwhile, Abi and Andrea were set upon voting out Victoria, but fear of the other turning to save themselves or not being prepared for a fire making tie breaker... was a concern that fueled their paranoia coming into this tribal council.

Just how crazy could this last elimination be? We'll find out.

It is time to vote:

Abi-Maria: https://strawpoll.com/ghc1rrgjs

Andrea: https://strawpoll.com/357jzf9o7

Malcolm: https://strawpoll.com/sx9edaw3q

Victoria: https://strawpoll.com/ozqo3y3ao

(If the vote ends up tied 2-2, we will not have revote, we will head straight into a fire making tiebreaker, details of how it works will be explained in the next post, if necessary)

These polls will close at 12:00 mn EST, make sure to vote wisely.

DS-HV: Tribal Council #21 Tiebreaker (Day 38)

I'll go tally the votes.

Alright, once the votes have been read, the decision is final and that person will have to leave the tribal council area immediately, I'll read the votes.

First vote, Victoria.

Abi (we're tied, that's one vote Abi, one vote Victoria)

Victoria (that's two votes Victoria, one vote Abi, one vote left)

Abi.

We are tied. This means, we will be having a Fire Making Challenge as a tie breaker. Fire is an essential part of this game, it represents your life in this game, so using the supplies you have here, if you can make a fire strong and high enough to burn through that rope first, you stay in the game as part of the Final Three. Loser becomes the final member of our Jury.

Take your spots, we'll get it on.

Fire Making Challenge: https://strawpoll.com/3xvzg2qgv

(The Fire Making Challenge will work the same way it did as last season, wherein you guys would be able to vote on a poll to decide the chance that both Abi and Victoria has to win this challenge. Because the number of votes each player will receive will be put on a randomizer, and that randomizer will be choosing one vote to decide the winner and the third member of our final three.)

The poll will close at 2:00 am EST, make sure to vote wisely.

DS-HV: Tribal Council #21 Tiebreaker Results (Day 38)

And begin.

Victoria grabbing her husk she is making a nest, Abi is working on building a tall structure... Victoria is going for it, she's striking her flint, trying to catch a flame, Abi's still working on her structure, making sure that it will be strong. Victoria has a flame, she is now nursing it to lit up her husk, Abi now starting to strike her flint, Victoria has a fire going, but it is certainly not tall enough yet to reach the rope. Abi has a spark going, she's got a flame, and we're got a challenge!! Both women are working hard to keep that flame going, Victoria trying to put twigs all over to get the flame higher, while Abi's trying to get her flame to become bigger. Only one of you will be in the final three, now is your chance to prove that you earned it. Victoria's flame is getting bigger and bigger, Abi's flame is smoldering now, can she get it back alive? Victoria's flame is closing it, it's hitting the rope... Abi is not giving up however, she is striking that flint, and her flame is back up, now she has to make sure she catches up to Victoria, whose flame is getting weaker... but she is putting twig after twig, husk after husk, trying to get it stronger, it works! Abi's flame is starting to burn through the rope now, this will be a close challenge... and Victoria gets it done!!! she is now in the Final Three!! While Abi becomes the Final Member of our Jury.

Alright, Abi, come bring me your torch...

Abi, the Tribe has spoken, time for you to go.

After 38 days of hunger, the elements and the ever increasing difficultly of gameplay, which brought a dangerous amount of blindsides and big moves... brings us to you three. Malcolm, Andrea, Victoria. You three have made it as far as you can go in this game, the power now shifts to the jury, eleven people you had a hand directly or indirectly in voting out, they will now decide which of you is the most deserving of the title of Sole Survivor. Tomorrow you will have the chance to plead your case on why you deserve to win this game. I'll see you tomorrow, for your Final Tribal Council, you have one day left here in Fiji, enjoy it. Grab your torches, head back to camp, congrats.

DS-HV: Veitavalu Camp (Day 39)

Andrea, Victoria, and Malcolm all woke up at their shelter to enjoy the sun rise at their final day here in the game. They congratulated each other for being here with them. They went off to get their day 39 breakfast, and they decided to take it easy today, enjoy the scenery for the last time, and then rip each other's heads at Final Tribal Council later.

Andrea recollected that she had an amazing time in this season, she feared that history would repeat itself and she would be voted out in the middle of the merge for being "too big of a threat", but she's shown herself in this season that she is capable of playing aggressive and getting rid of people just when they were about to take her out. She won immunity when she needed it, and although she did make a few mishaps, she was able to come out of it stronger than ever, and only receiving two votes, when she was normally the one getting the most votes every time. She hopes that the jury will see that she played a strong aggressive game and one that is worthy of the win.

Malcolm was feeling surreal that he made it here in the end, when he was so close last time and he blew it, now he is here to finish what he started, as he managed to crawl his way from the bottom to the top. He spent most of the game on the bottom of Cagi, and then the bottom of Veitavalu, he was running out of allies to work with, he was always wanted out, but he always managed to dodge bullets left and right, winning five immunities, and even without immunities he managed to slick by every time. He may have made a few mistakes along the way, but he still hopes that he made strong connections with the jury and they could see his game as a winning one.

Victoria was relieved that she made it here in Day 39, she knew that she was facing up against many many fierce competitors, and she knew that she needed to stay under the radar for most of the game, taking notes of everyone, in order to let herself get through the game. And it worked, she and Sophie were able to get themselves in the middle of the dynamics and they controlled where votes would go, until they were discovered and she was left to fend for herself and she managed to survive vote after vote, still having a way on who went home, despite being so deep on the bottom. She hopes that she has played a great game, and that the jury will see it as such.

All three finalists all had an amazing journey to get here in the end, now... only one thing stands in their way. The eleven members of the jury, that will judge them for everything they did in this game, and determine who from the three of them is the most deserving of the title of Sole Survivor.

(Final Tribal Council... will happen tomorrow, it will be a 12 hour long, somewhat complicated event, of which you will have to answer the Jury's questions for the finalists, and once it is over. The production team and I will judge your answers and use it to determine who each jury member will vote for. So please answer it wisely. Good Luck!!)

DS-HV: Final Tribal Council (Day 39)

Andrea, Victoria, Malcolm, welcome to your Final Tribal Council, this is where you can plead your case, on why your game is more deserving than the other two people sitting right next to you.
