Episode 17

DS-HV: Post-Tribal Veitavalu Camp (Day 34)

The tribe returns to camp from another tribal council, with many of them feeling great about the results. Malcolm and Sophie were happy that they were able to control the vote tonight. But it will still be a long way to go, they needed to secure an majority alliance of four, with Abi and Andrea.

Sophie is a bit concerned however, ever since the merge started, she and Victoria have agreed to work together behind the scenes in opposing alliances. They wanted to subtly control the vote at every opportunity, and it has worked in their favor, but with Marty constantly accusing Victoria of being a big threat during tribal councils, and with him trying to make desperate moves to take her down. Their secret alliance is at stake, and she wonders about what to do now.

Meanwhile, Janet was feeling upset about what happened in tribal council, right after she thought she had the majority, she is now back on the bottom, and with her remaining ally, Victoria having better relationships with the rest of the tribe, she feels as if she's completely all alone as she would be probably taken out first.

However, Abi is now taking Marty's words into consideration, as she sees that Sophie is more closely aligned with Victoria, than she is. And with Malcolm and Andrea also being parts of the strategic conversations with Sophie, and then Janet with Victoria. She now sees that the two of them are controlling the game at this point, and just dragging everyone else along. And she thinks its time to take them out.

(This is the penultimate episode... so there will be two elimination cycles this week.)

DS-HV: Immunity Challenge (Day 35)

Challenge: A Bit Tipsy

Alright, are you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge? First's things first, Malcolm, I have to take it back, once again immunity is up for grabs, for today's challenge:

You are going to pull on a rope, balancing a wobbly table, while you attempt to stack letter blocks one at a time. First person to spell immunity, wins immunity. Safe from the vote, will not become the eight member of our jury.

We'll draw for spots, let's get started.

Survivors Ready?? Go!!

Challenge: https://strawpoll.com/x72y95912

(You can vote for as many players as you want, please vote on who do you think should realistically win this challenge, the challenge advantages points will be listed in the poll, these polls will end at 12:00 mn EST. Good Luck!!)

DS-HV: Immunity Challenge Results (Day 35)

Everyone is off with their first block, there is a learning curve to this challenge, with that table, you need to figure out how to keep it balanced, so that your blocks wouldn't fall, as Andrea and Sophie know, as they competed in this challenge before. And just as I say that, Andrea is in the lead with her third block, everyone else either just stacking or going to get their second. There are eight blocks in total, and this challenge will only get more difficult as that stack goes higher. Janet drops her stack, she has to start over. Sophie and Malcolm with their third blocks, while Andrea has her fourth, establishing her lead further more.

Andrea is going slow and steady right now, she has her sixth block, while Sophie and Malcolm are just behind her with five blocks each, but they too are going slow and steady, all they can hope for is that Andrea makes a mistake. Everyone else is not even close. Andrea with her seventh block, she only has one left. Sophie has soon picked up her pace and took the lead over Malcolm, Sophie with her sixth block. Andrea is going really slowly now, she does not want to start all over again. Meanwhile Sophie is beginning to catch up, she is close to getting her seventh block on the table... and she does... she's got one left. Andrea now has her eighth and final block on her table, all she needs to do now is to get back, while keeping her table balanced. Sophie closing in as she getting her eight and final block on her stack. Andrea within a few steps of winning immunity... can she do it... and she does! Andrea wins Immunity!!

Andrea, come on over, you just won immunity, congrats. You are safe in tonight's tribal council, cannot be voted out of this game, congrats. As for the rest of you, tribal council tonight, where somebody will be the eighteenth person voted out and the eighth member of our jury. Big stakes, grab your stuff head back to camp, I'll see you all at tribal.

DS-HV: Veitavalu Camp (Day 35)

The tribe returned to camp from the immunity challenge, now displeasingly preparing for their tribal council tonight. Andrea was very happy about her immunity win, as she feels that she definitely needed this one, as she was constantly on the chopping block in each round, and it was relieving to have herself wearing this necklace and making it to another day.

Sophie was a bit upset over Andrea's immunity win, as she was planning to blindside her tonight, despite their close relationship, she was a huge threat to her game, as her strategy was foiling her plans time and time again, by flipping back and back forth between alliances, being in the powerful swing vote position most of the time, which is making her uncomfortable as she doesn't really know which side she'll go, as well as being a physical threat, which of course, now came into play, making her not an option in this vote.

Victoria, then met up with Sophie and discussed how they'll go about this vote. Should they target Marty, who was constantly exposing Victoria as a big threat, but is also quite a persona non grata in this game. Or should they get rid of Janet now, as she is a big jury threat for her underdog status, and fire making skills if there would be one in the Final 4.

Soon enough, Sophie and Victoria, gathered Abi, Malcolm, Janet and Andrea, that suggested that they take the easy vote tonight, and just unanimously vote out Marty, they all agreed. Later on, Sophie whispers to Andrea, Malcolm, and Abi, that maybe they could also just blindside Janet tonight instead. Malcolm and Andrea were in. But Abi reluctantly agrees...

Abi, can now perfectly see Marty's point about Victoria and Sophie being huge treats, subtly controlling the votes. So she thinks of forming a counter alliance against them, she rules out Malcolm as a member, due to general mistrust, and seeing as she thinks that he is too close to Sophie right now to ever think of flipping on her. So she goes to talk to Janet, tells her about her alliance's plans that Marty is a decoy, while they will actually be voting for her. And then to Andrea, as she is the only other one who she believes that will be willing to flip on the others.

Both Andrea and Janet are both reluctant to the idea, as they have grown to like both Sophie and Victoria, but they are now starting to understand Abi and Marty's pleas. They only need four votes to turn this game around, and now is definitely the time to do so. But all four of them are still thinking if this is wisest move to make tonight.

(Tribal is in a Few Hours!!)

DS-HV: Tribal Council #18 (Day 35)

The previous Tribal Council established Sophie to be a force to be reckoned with, as she rallied the numbers to send Lauren, the biggest threat in the game, to the jury. While sneakily working with Victoria in the bottom to gather information and control the votes from both sides.

Their next target was set on Andrea, but with her immunity, she unknowingly managed to save herself. Sophie and Victoria, then retarget their plans toward either Marty for being untrustworthy, or Janet for being a jury threat.

Marty has long foreseen Victoria and Sophie as a threat, but was silenced after everyone had other priorities. But he has soon convinced Abi-Maria, to make a move about it. She then gathered Janet and Andrea to form a counter coalition against them, and to turn this game around.
